(January 17, 2018, 5:23 am)My 10 year old son needed to have an EKG. The cardiologist who is doing her fellowship was amazing! Since she detected a heart murmur, she got us in immediately for an echocardiogram. While it may be difficult for a 10 year old to stay still for 45 minutes while having cold gel on his chest & tummy, the technician was great with him and got him through it beautifully. We ended this very long visit with the greatest news that in addition to having a “big heart,” my son also has a healthy one!

(July 18, 2017, 8:32 am)Mount Sinai has the absolute best physicians! My toddler sees Dr. Vicencio (Pediatric Pulmonology) and Dr. Julie Brown (General Pediatrics). Based in an academic setting, the most talented physicians provide the most comprehensive care. They don't just treat patients, they educate parents and have your child's best interest in mind. I have never seen a more passionate team. Thank you!

I've been instructed for my son to be NPO for 6 hours before surgery, we have an 2pm appointment and have been waiting for the surgeon since 10am this morning with nothing to eat or drink since 6am. My son is only 18 months and the surgeon has been delayed for more then 4 hours from secluded surgeries throughout the day. Why??? Not inform parents of this when dealing with pediatric patients!!!! It's rude and inhuman to put a babies threw this, it's just not proper courtesy/hospitality at this hospital!!!!
